Henrique (Prince Henry the Navigator) fitted out the caravels that led the way to the Discoveries. It is considered one of the most beautiful towns in the Algarve.
Great food together with the warmth of its people makes this town a wonderful place to spend you holiday.
You can also visit the historic village of Sagres, where Infante D. Henrique founded his Navigation School in the fifteenth century, and the area known as Costa Vicentina with its lovely beaches and cliffs. Stunning landscapes will surprise nature lovers.
